Altar Workers
The objective of the Alter Worker’s Ministry is to give each Alter Worker a solid foundation for faith and some good, practical, basic principles upon which to build an effective Alter Working Ministry, by being Anointed to minister directly to those in their moment of decision to accept Christ: to offer reassurance or restoration of Salvation, to assist those in receiving the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit), minster healing, and/or to minister in Pray. |

Cell Groups
The cell group ministry is designed to accomplish two goals; outreach and targeting emerging leaders. Modeled after the G-12 system, our cell group desires to reach out to pre-believers who are willing to attend a one hour gathering who otherwise would not attend a “traditional” church service. Secondly, we desire to identify and develop new leaders. Cell groups are led by trained D.O.C. members and meet weekly in an intimate setting with no more than 12 people per group. All groups meet on the main church campus. Our goal is to disciple new Christians and foster the growth of the body of Christ. |

DOC (Disciples of Christ)
We the Oasis of Love Disciples of Christ endeavor to make disciples for Christ. We pledge to be a blessing to our church family, to our community and to the world, by building and advancing the Kingdom of God. We extend a helping hand to those in need of spiritual revival by offering a fresh, life-changing experience based solely upon the Word of God. We shall always hold up the arms of our Pastor, Dr. Walter Jordan II, standing as a force united with him. As a unit, we concur with the Vision that God has given him for this house and we do ALL things to the glory and honor of God.

New Members Institute
The New Members Institute course reflects the vision of our Pastor, Dr. Walter E. Jordan II. Our main purpose is to assist the New Member/New Believer in understanding a relationship with Jesus Christ. Additionally, we will assist in their spiritual growth from being babes in Christ to becoming fully mature Christians. We will assist in their understanding of the many aspects of Christianity, and the Oasis Ministry. We encourage each New Member/ Believer to continue to use course materials even after completion of the course.

Shamar Intercessions
The word Shamar means to hedge about, to guard, generally to protect. It also means to take heed of, to keep, to observe, preserve and to be a watchful guard. The Shamar Intercessors of the Oasis of Love Church pray and intercede on behalf of Oasis. We stand as watchmen and gatekeepers. We strive to hear the heart of God and pray according to what He wants prayed! Shamar Intercessors gather to pray at 8:15 am every Sunday morning in the sanctuary.
